Chad - I know! Blushing here....honest, I am. I really should show my two threads to the hubby huh? He sometimes thinks I spend way too much time on the computer.....LOL

I equally missed all of you just as much. If not more. I check Storm2K first every morning, before email! Now that's saying something about this site Chad.

Sure is good to be back. Still trying to catch up on these threads though. I see several pages back you all had fun with a so-you-think-you-know-me type topic. That looks like fun but I'm due at the kennel in an hour! When we get our pupster back, she's hyper all day long and we like to devote our first day back with just her. Hey, maybe I can get a Golden Retriever to post? LOL Now you all know I've lost it - too much sun, "vaca" (as my daughter Nina calls it), beach, sand, LOL!

I was thinking about you as I was driving to work today. I saw three cars with the oval signs reading OBX and HH with the lighthouse. Glad you're back. Yes you were really missed. No more vacations for you missy!!!!!! It's just not the same without you.

Karan - okay then, I'll just cancel that cruise to the Bahama's, my stay at the Biltmore Estate, my Hawaiian winter vacation, etc. LOL

I didn't get to see a lighthouse though! A little bummed about that. We took along a friend for Nina. The kids went on a banana boat one day and in one of the many times they were dumped in the water, her friend chipped two teeth when she collided with another kid. Then I discovered she gets seasick a lot on boats. That's when I confirmed with my family that I was probably the only one that wanted to go on the 5 hour ferry (both ways) to Ocracoke Island. Didn't feel right leaving the kids for 14 hours. That's a bit too long. We've never allowed our kids to bring along a friend before so it does curtail your trip a bit. That's my only regret - no lighthouse! Oh well, another time...I did see several in Door County last year. That will have to do!

Ocracoke is a neat place. They have man local artist there and have some really neat stuff for sale. I almost downed there 3 years ago. YIKES They have rip tides a lot in that area.

Chad maybe you should archive that post so that the next time she leaves we can tell her that she has no grounds on which to do so.
