Sittin' on the Front Porch

#1 Postby azsnowman » Tue Mar 25, 2003 8:05 am

With the first days of spring upon us and the ever decreasing need for the Pot Belly Stove, it's time to move outside and enjoy the warm days and cool nights. Pull up a chair, take a load off, sit and shoot the breeze with us!

Yeeeeeehaw! Nice to get away from that stove, but from the looks of it, I'll be crawlin' back to it by the end of this week! Have a good day everyone!

Morning Dennis. A little too cool for me to be on the porch so I can only stay for a minute. It is 53º here now.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning! Yes indeed, it's a little chilly here too wx247, it's 28° at the moment :o I have to have a jacket on to sit out here. The day time temps have been on the increase here, I've been in the upper 50's to lower 60's the last few days and let me tell ya, SPRING IS really here. I got out and walked around the yard yesterday and I couldn't believe how much stuff is in bloom, sure is good seeing leafs on the trees!

Not much else to report from here, Make it a GREAT day would ya?

I know what you mean about Spring Dennis. The easter lillies are in full bloom here, the roses are beginning to grow and will be blooming before you know it, the pear trees are blossoming, and so are the beautiful dogwoods. Spring in the Ozarks...nothing sweeter! :)

Temps here this am were in the 60's. Lovin' every minute of it. I was afraid I'd have to wait until Jan. to feel cool again. We've been in the 80"s
to 90's here for the last month. FYI, I'm in S FL.

Spring is here in Texas - the grass is growing and all the trees are in bloom. Pollen is out in full force! Looks like we might have a dip in the temps this weekend - but other than that - Spring is Here.

Currently 43* in Titletown.

Unfortunate news to pass along, our UWGB lady Phoenix lost last night to LSU 80-69. They (UWGB) showed their tenacious self! LSU could not shake them away. Hence the name, Fighting Phoenix.

we are still proud of their accomplishments, setting numerous school records throughout this season (which includes making it into the second round of the NCAA tourney)

Morning all.

Nice to be out here this morning. 72f and not a cloud in the sky.

Spring is here in full force, Mulberrys on the tree have even ripened (time for some berry pie, fresh baked!) So dig in.

Good day to you all.
