There is so much free stuff online...including right here at Storm2k, that pay weather sites don't make much sense these days.

I remember paying $70 a month for satellite data from the DTN system out of Omaha Nebraska for a while, but then the internet just proliferated so much free material it no longer made sense.

Weatherbug is a freebee. I also use the Weather Underground page for severe weather sometimes, but just check out all the stuff on Storm2k!

I use WeatherTap for radar and satellite when I need a fast site. Otherwise, I tend to use the NWS sites and some of the University sites.

Thats the main reason I'm leaning towards weathertap their radar. Seems when I need the radar the most when storms are rolling the NWS site is to slow for me. With regards to weathertap are their other services worth while?
