I think I have it all figured out.

People like Helen (I'm not saying Helen does this, but I mean people who express these thoughts) who complain that Bush isn't doing enough campaigning right now and who begin to feel all negative about their candidates chances of being elected *might* just vote for the other candidate in the polls in an effort to get their candidate on his toes (and possibly get the other candidate to relax and feel comfortable).

Think of it this way - If Kerry takes a major lead in the polls, Bush will have to step up and Kerry will begin to think he's doing things right and he's just keep doing what he's doing. BUT, it could be that Bush supporters are picking Kerry in these little unimportant news polls in order to make the candidates think that way, but when the real votes come in, it's George who comes out way on top.

I know, it's doubtful. I don't pick that way if I do vote in news polls. So who can really say other Bush supporters are also? But it was just a thought.

But the difference is Bush was a trust fund baby while edwards worked his way up. He got a good education and became a lawyer. Some cases like the pool drain case in nc that sucked the intestines out of a little girl helped change the way all pools were maintained and helped spare many other people the same fate. So what if he was a trial lawyer. If he represented the pool company y'all would say he was for big business. He's a good honest person, and the kerry ticket is getting many "swing" voters according to this recent poll. I'll Amen myself though.

AMEN AMEN!!

As for Galvestonducks idea...I'd say that people can go ahead and keep dishonestly skewing the polls and voting for bush in reality, b/c they definitly don't represent the democratic party.
