Today is day 14 without coffee for me; it was elevating my blood pressure so I gave it up.

I'm seriously addicted to...music! Rock, classical, country (haven't taken to rap or hip-hop yet; give me time  ).

OH YEAH! "COFFEE!" MY GOD, I cannot LIVE without my coffee, in fact, I had blood work done on Friday, ya know, the fasting (sp) kind, NO FOOD, NO WATER, "NO COFFEE!" Talk about a GROUCH :grr: You wanna make me REALLY mad? Take away my coffee, then it's "Katie Bar the Door!"

Patty is one of my all-time favorite celebs, too...how does that song go from the Patty Duke Show of yore? Lemme try...*Well Patty adores the minuet...the valley loop...and crepe suzettes!* Something like that! :) She starred opposite William Schallert if memory serves correctly.

ROFL! Yeah, something like that, Eric.

"Cathy adores a minuet, the Ballet Rouse, and crepe suzettes.
But Patty loves her rock and roll, a hot dog makes her lose control.
What a wild duet!"

:)

I used to love watching the PD Show reruns on Nick At Nite. I really love her in "The Miracle Worker" and in many of her TV movies, one which was filmed down here. :)

I must have my daily (sometimes minute-by-minute) fix of weather, news, and chocolate. I have to be involved in something bigger than me (a planning commission member these days), and I am also becoming addicted to my granddaughter.

Poppysky, I'm addicted to my grandchildren too!!!

I love buying plants. I guess you could say I'm addicted. In the winter it's houseplants of all kinds and this time of year it's perennials!!!!

I'm also addicted to cooking. If I can't get into the kitchen and whip up a new and exciting dish on a regular basis, I go into withdrawal!!!!!!! Even when I'm camping, that campfire and my Coleman stove are put to work.

Definately! I'm "fixin" to whip up a batch of pasta sauce using tomatoes from my garden. Sometimes I think I'd rather cook than eat LOL!

Hugs... they're the greatest thing that anyone can give me. (Next would be kissing, but thats only one person.. and that could go along ways, but I don't think it's much of an addiction.)

Jack, I would rather cook than eat. I enjoy watching others eat and making them feel at home and contented. Your sauce sounds yummy!!!!

There's nothing like spending a few hours in the kitchen or behind a grill adding a special touch to a meal...I totally agree!!

Another addiction; my wife of 14 years, Bette. If she isn't the best thing since sliced bread...I don't know what is.

The sauce turned out pretty nice. :D
