Storm2k Forum Templates Change. Please Read

#1 Postby chadtm80 » Mon Jun 28, 2004 3:45 pm

Good Afternoon everyone :-) I have some news that may upset some, but others will like. Storm2k has MULTIPLE templates in our Data base. Its a real pain for us to update each and every template everytime there is a change to the site. We have come up with Two default templates that we are going to use for the site and the others are going to be removed. Both templates match the site, one dark and one light. Both will have all the same features and all the same links. Those that are on one of the templates we are removing will automaticly be moved to the template that resembles there current one the most.. IE: Dark templates will be moved to the standard dark and light to the light. Both Templates are GREAT! There should be no problems with anyone not liking one or the other. This is going to save Marshall and I a LOT of hassel. Hope everyone understands. Comments welcome as always!! But if your one of teh ones that are upset, please dont throw anything to heavy ;-)

The two templates that will be kept are "WSdark blue" (our current default template) and the other will be "FI Sub Silver Shadow" (this is a new template I just created.. This will be for the members who prefer a lighter template) You have to do nothing in order for the changes to happen.. We will be updating everyones personally from our end.. Feel free to check them out your selves in the meantime in your profile under the section "board Style"

Again thanks for your understanding!!

Chad

Well it has been the one I have used since I joined. Tonite it had been changed to Wsdark blue so I changed it back. So far it is still working.

The Sub Rebel will be staying along with the other 2 I believe for a lil while for those that are currently on it due to connection problems.

Just keep SubRebel, please!! I was so attached to fisubgreen for the longest time then switched to SubRebel less than 2 weeks ago and I'd never go back! I don't care what you do with the rest...just keep SubRebel!
