Saddam expert (Amatzia Baram) says the fact that sadam has not been on tv again means that he is probably dead or at the very least very injured.. He said he would of gone on tv by now because he would want people to know that he is alive..

This is coming from him, not me

I know it is horrible to hope for ones death, but in this case, I feel I am justified to do so. This man has NO sympathy for innocent civilians and for the sake of the Iraqi people and the Kurds, I hope he is dead.

If he's dead then the surviving levels of his power base are still calling the shots. I find it telling that Tariq Assiz has shown his face either. He's been Saddam's mouthpiece for years.

So true! I remember reading up Saddams cousin once. (Chemical Ali). This man is more cold blooded than Saddam and his youngest son. If Iraq has those chemical weapons (which we KNOW he does) he will be the one to use them. Let's hope we get that tyrant before he can use them.

I hope Tariq has perished as well. It does seem odd that when rumors were flying about him being dead, he surfaced to let us know that it was not true. Then came the "shock and awe" and we have not heard from him since.
