And To You I Leave...

#1 Postby azskyman » Tue Jun 01, 2004 10:10 pm

Graduation time again. Time to leave something behind to another.

So as we graduate into a new tropical storm season, what do we want to leave behind for another Storm2k member.

Here are a few to get it started...

To Streetsoldier, I leave behind the razor sharp Buck knife I found on the Gore Range in Colorado.

To Chad and MrsChad, I leave behind my highlighted copy of "Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus," (or is it the other way around)

To Bronwyn and her new baby, I leave behind the stack of diapers we have at grandpa's house for Emma. Next time she visits she will be potty trained (like that will really happen!)

So....what is it you want to leave behind for another Storm2k member as we graduate from spring storms and move into tropical dreamland?

I'll leave my winter heating bill (still making large payments on a "budget" plan) to anyone who will take it.

I'll take your winter heating bills Ed, and send you my summer cooling bills in exchange.

A/C is on from 4/15/04 through 10/31/04.

...and to Miss Mary I leave four tickets to a Broadway show at the Chicago Theater along with three night's lodging for your girl's trip at the Drake Hotel. Top it off with dinner at Maggianos.

...and for Dennis and Meeshell...gentle rains every third day until the fire season ends!

I wanna be in Eric's wish.....yummmmmm....
can I have a margarita with that? ;)

Bill gets that darned machete that I found,
in the grass, out back....Bill, it's a bit rusted,
but, hey - I know that you'll restore it and love
it!

Garrett gets a free ticket to the Summertown
Bluegrass Festival, in July.

Hey, Bronnie - I was gonna leave my Pink Floyd
CD's to Donna, too, so, I guess that she has
spares for when she wears the FIRST ones out,
eh?

Steve - what a thoughtful gift!!! We're already talking up our November trip, if you can believe that!

Pojo - Buffet? Wow, don't know what to say......I guess anything's possible, I could ~become~ a Buffet fan!!! Cincinnatian's go crazy for the man. I'm just into alt rock more but thank you just the same!

To give back.......

To Steve - I leave an awesome vacation at Disney World with Emma and Kathy. Dinner at the Castle and everything! Emma would keep you both so busy. And then another week of relaxation at a spa somewhere, 'cause you would need it!

Pojo - I leave a open week on your calendar with no plans whatsoever - so you can do many of the things you've wanted to do. Like go see The Day after Tomorrow!

John - I leave an equally open week on your calendar so you can visit with friends and relax too. You're another busy member here!
