Summerfest at Storm2k

#1 Postby azskyman » Tue Jun 01, 2004 10:14 pm

We've got a three day concert headed to the Storm2k Pavilion. Day and night over an entire weekend.

So which groups or individuals should be playing on the teen stage, the country stage, the R and B stage, or the main stage of the event?

Come early, bring your blanket and your cooler.

And the MC for the entire weekend must be....

Main stage should be Bon Jovi. 8-)

We don't even need anyone else. hehe
I could easily watch Jon Bon Jovi perform for three straight days.

If Jamie O'Neal, Rhonda Vincent, and Kellie Coffey don't perform on the country stage SOMETIME during the Summerfest, I will boycott.

I think Dennis should MC the country stage. :D

Main stage -

Day 1: The Scorpions could perform "Rock You Like A Hurricane" and some of their other stuff.

Day 2: James Taylor, singing "Fire And Rain" and so forth.

Day 3: Billy Joel, who could perform "Storm Front" and many other great songs. (I'd be there :) )

Country stage -

Day 1: Tim McGraw, performing his hits including "She's My Kind Of Rain."

Day 2: Tracy Lawrence, doing "Texas Tornado."

Day 3: Garth Brooks, singing "The Thunder Rolls" among his other hits.

R & B stage -
Day 1: Lena Horne, who could sing "Stormy Weather."

Day 2: Prince, performing "Purple Rain" and other hits.

Day 3: Lisa Loeb could do "Hurricane" and any of her other chart-breaking songs (if there were any).

Teen stage:

Day 1: B.J. Thomas, who would do "Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head" and some of his other hits.

Day 2: Barry Manilow, singing "I Made It Through The Rain."

Day 3: The Brady Kids could perfom "It's A Sunshine Day."

:)

And the MC would have to be GhostWolf.

I know, but they're clean-cut enough. They'd have to do. Nowadays, the teen stars aren't all the clean or "teen."
