Patton is wonderful! George C. Scott was amazing in that one. I loved the dog in there, too. :D

Oh, my goodness - "Full Metal Jacket" - I
honestly have goose-bumps, as I type this!
That's the movie that made me and my spoiled
pals realize that the S*** was deeper...out there!
 We sat silent for at least five minutes,
while the credits were rolling - couldn't say one
word!

I forgot about Midway!

Breeze - "Full Metal Jacket" was SHOCKING, but oh so powerful!!!

"Glory" was just on last night. That was Denzel Washington's first Oscar for a supporting actor. I'm getting chills right now typing about it too.

I agree, Steph! :D

Missed it though due to monitoring storms last night in my birth state of Indiana...thankfully relatives who live in Madison Co. (Anderson) and who had a tornado warning...are okay. ;)

There's always DVD's Eric!

You did have a busy night last night along with many others. I'm glad that the casualties have been relatively small too.
