Thanks for your concern Kristi. Raining so hard now that the gutters are overflowing. I cleaned them last week so nothing is in them. Calm winds... no hail so far either.

SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE SPRINGFIELD MO
156 PM CDT SUN MAY 30 2004

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
BARRY COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI.

* UNTIL 245 PM CDT.

* AT 154 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING QUARTER SIZE HAIL...AND
DESTRUCTIVE WINDS IN EXCESS OF 70 MPH. THIS STORM WAS LOCATED NEAR
PIERCE CITY...OR ABOUT 6 MILES WEST OF MONETT...AND MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 45 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF
NORTHERN BARRY COUNTY...INCLUDING THE TOWN OF MONETT.

ANOTHER SEVERE THUNDERSTORM OVER BENTON COUNTY ARKANSAS WILL MOVE
INTO THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY.

A TORNADO WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FOR THE WARNED AREA. IF A TORNADO
IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.

DOPPLER RADAR HAS INDICATED SOME WEAK ROTATION WITHIN THIS STORM.
WHILE NOT IMMEDIATELY LIKELY...A SMALL TORNADO MAY STILL DEVELOP. IF
A TORNADO IS SPOTTED...ACT QUICKLY AND MOVE TO A PLACE OF SAFETY IN A
STURDY STRUCTURE...SUCH AS A BASEMENT OR SMALL INTERIOR ROOM.

Hey Jim... is the threat for redevelopment in my area high... the front hasn't moved through and the sun is shining... some cells popping SW of me... although not severe.
