will enter the Gulf and stir up into something? Sure does look impressive over land. Is it moving East toward Gulf of Mexico? Thanks (weather junkie in training) LOL!!!

No ... the blob in Mexico is a another large convective complex that will soon fall apart just before exiting off the Mexican Coast ... the related s/w is expected to ride ENE or NE and play a part in some of the weather in the Deep South/Southeast - Mon/Tues.
