I'd rather snort shards of broken glass coated in McIlhenny's hot sauce than give one dime to the producers of that piece of garbage.

Only way I'd ever see it is on DVD as part of some drinking game related to taking a sip whenever something idiotic happened.

It was a fairly good movie but it had a lot more potential imo.

It was a great movie. And it was just that a movie. Nothing like that is even possible in real life. Ahhh the imagination though.

A hurricane blizzard???

Ok.....

Lots of unrealistic weather events here, and unexplained ones.

*SPOILERS*

First off, the wave that inundated New York City. The meteorologists said it was a 'wind-driven' storm surge, yet when the wave came in the winds were calm. Plus, it behaved more like a tsunami than a storm surge. Good special effects with it though.

Secondly, the tornadoes in LA. So you mean to tell me that reporters would sit their asses in front of a tornado and report on it? It was hilarious, and the guy that got hit with the sign deserved it. Completely unrealistic, choppers would not be able to fly and reporters would definately not be able to report. But, again, the effects were great.

Thirdly, the 'hurricane' blizzard things. They never explained what they were. Couldnt be a hurricane or polar low, because those form over water (Plus they were too big to be either anyway). Secondly, they have an eye when they obviously arent a hurricane, suggesting a LLC. A blizzard is not created by a LLC, but a high altitute one. And the shots from space, it looked like the cloud tops had to be pushing 90,000 feet. But they were pretty devastating.

It was a good movie, but very unrealistic. Worth the money though.

It was a good entertainment movie that the whole family can see. There isn't bad language and garbage like that. However, I found the "walking" to Manhattan from North Philly a bit of a stretch.

Just got back from seeing it, well IMHO it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. But still interesting thought as to what could happen.
