Cycloneye, I don't see the system on the radar screen. Unless it has no cloud cover in the center? If it dosnt have cloud cover and dosnt develop one soon, the storm would be a flop.

Spin no doubt.. Convection is limited at the moment, but that can change quickly and is currently firing up. :D

I think we'll almost certainly see a storm develop there in the next 3-4 days. Plenty of energy and the MJO on its way. The question is, will we then get development in the western Caribbean or Gulf a week or so later?

That is a good question and I would say the chances as pretty good it will happen..

It's amazing how clear the Atlantic is right now, with the only activity along the ITCZ and S.A. coastline. This morning we have another rather impressive blob in the suspect area with more wave coming.

It's open season in a few days so any development would be rigt on schedule..

The Models will be getting scrutiny in the coming days I reckon..

Our bestest buddy Mr Shear has relaxed considerably compared to last week..right on schedule as well..
