Need a few Storm2k prayers please

#1 Postby Pburgh » Thu May 27, 2004 6:46 pm

:( At work today one of our employees got cut very badly and had to be transported to the hospital by ambulance. Please pray that his injury is not too severe. His name is Marvin and he's a terrific guy.

When I got home from work, my daughter called to say that my grandson, Drew, broke his arm, the ulna and the radius. He's only 4 years old!!! He fell off of a swing. He's casted from wrist to armpit. When I talked to him he was more excited about the RED cast!!!!

If you could say a few prayers, I'd really appreciate it.
Thanks
Karan

Karan,
After all the prayers you sent my way over the past few months, I am more than happy to return them to you. Poor little Drew.....how scary for him. And a prayer for Marvin as well.

Hugs,
Suzi

Karan...it goes without saying that while I am sitting here listening to Jim Brickman music, I also passed a prayer your way for two who are hurting tonight.

Karan, my friend.....please know good vibes and needed prayers are coming your way.....and some extra ones for you!

My daughter broke her arm when she was 5; the Dr. told me that particular section of bones would be much stronger after healing. So much "stuff" going on around us that directly affects us too, huh!?!.....p

Karan - you so rarely ask us for prayers or help, that I'm only too happy to say a few prayers for Marvin and Drew. Poor Drew! My Laura has had many a broken bone - she's my tomboy and into extreme type sports. These past few years she's finally learned to be more careful. But for a while there it was getting to be difficult explaining to Children's hospital why we were in for another possible fracture. Collar bone, wrist, toe, finger, etc. She gets pretty mad at me when I say - now Laura, let's find you a nice chair, a good book and you just read for a while. She hates to read and wants to go outside! I'd love to sit on her but I can't. But again, knock on wood, she hasn't broken any bones for a long time. We have an assortment of slings, wrist braces, etc. under the bathroom sink.

One good thing about kids and fractures - they heal quickly. Opposite of adult fractures!

Well, Marvin came in to my office today. What a great guy!! He got 48 stitches, YEP you heard me 48. We'll be sending him to a specialist but he can't wait to get back to work.

Drew is a little trooper and I think he'll do really well.

Thanks to all of you for your prayers and kind words. Both were needed.

You guys are great friends. ((Hugs))
