As we do every Memorial Day...go to a special service for Gold Star mothers and sisters (Debi lost her Marine older brother in the Tet offensive), then to the Legion Hall for lunch, provided by the Legionnaires and Auxiliary ladies.

Sadly, for the first time ever, we will not be flying the Flag this year...our lease specifically prohibits that. :larrow:

Changing plans here....hubby is taking the weekend off...I'm sure we'll do something fun! I'm thinking the amusement parks will all be too crowded though! Maybe a day at the beach, haven't done that in a while...

Going to a huge 80s party on Saturday (what to wear...what to wear...), shopping on Sunday for upcoming Las Vegas trip, pool party and cook-out on Monday.

Where ya staying in Vegas? I've been frequenting Vegas lately, and I love it! Dress cute...I have seen more beautiful people in Vegas then I've ever seen anywhere else in my life! Yes, we'll be dressing for the 80s party - complete with big hair, lots of make-up and huge shoulder pads!

re: Las Vegas - we're staying at The Venetian. This will be our first trip to Sin City so we're both VERY excited! I need one more sexy little dress for clubbing and I'll be all set!

Tonight: Graduate
Friday: Go downtown for the day; home @ 330pm
Saturday: Party @ home 4-????
Sunday: Church, rest
Monday: Possibly have a cookout but not certain on that...

Sunlover - Welcome!

I've been to Las Vegas once a couple of years ago. The Venetian is beautiful. I loved the Bellagio as well - they have the fountains that move to the music.

I'm off until next Wednesday. Nothing planned specifically, just alot of gardening and relaxing. Catching up on my sleep as well - I've been really tired this week.

Saturday-SHOPPING the Memorial Day Sales.
Sunday-Mass with hubby then Memorial Service for my Aunt at her church, then will prolly collapse. What time does Indy start? I forget.
Monday-BBQ, BBQ, BBQ. Got a brisket, chicken, ribs. Gonna do some potato salad, baked beans, chocolate pie, watermelon and cantelope. Also known as "WHAT DIET?" day.

Then figure I'll just lay around the house like the beached whale I am.....
