I'm 210 miles SSE of St. Louis...another 260 miles due N of Memphis, which would place me in a relatively "safe" area...but, then, there are those rivers again.

The confluence of the Mississippi and Ohio Rivers is only 15 minutes away, to the east; a strike on any cities north or east of us on a "river town" would DEFINITELY affect us directly (polluted water, as I stated elsewhere) or indirectly (shipments of food, perishables, whatever interrupted) as BEER980 has aleady mentioned.

Prepare, YES...worry? Why?

I'm glad Topeka isn't on the list.
