As for me taking the heat, I was not referring to the cuts I get on this board. Heaven knows, I'm used to that. I was meaning that the Republicans and Democrats in this country need to get together and do what is needed to end this war and bring peace to Iraq and safety to us in the U. S. again.

Gotcha!

Helen, why does the White House have to respond to this type of garbage. Gore needs to stop talking, he is embarrassing himself.

Gee, what is it with democrats and ranting lately. First it was Howard Dean, now Al Gore, who's next? Ted Kennedy?

Al Gore has some sort of mental disorder ever since losing the election. First there was the whole Grissly Adams look....(was that before or after??)...then he goes into these tirades...veins popping out of his head..snorting..spitting

The man needs valium.

Good points Bill and Steve.

Sunnyday - I agree with that statement about being divided as a nation. No matter who wins the election this November it's going to remain that way unfortunately. However, we've survived other times in our history when we were truly a nation "divided" like the Civil War or the Civil Rights movement eras.

After the election when he went on the eating binge, he could have been a poster boy for the new Ephedra free HYDROXYCUT. But this latest public outburst better qualifies him as a spokesperson for Ritalin.

As for howard dean, well, he should be locked up in a sanitarium where he cant interact with the rest of the outside world. IF nothing else just for the sake of our ears.

I think the passion for what he believes in is great! Is it wrong to be this way? No. Besides he is trying to disprove the fact that he sounds like an android. He learned alot from the 2000 elections I believe. People are too judgmental. They look at things like him getting passionate and a beard as smthg evil. Why don't we listen to the things he says?!

I find his passion is spewing hate and putting blame where blame doesn't belong. He is a great example of WHY we're divided.

JQPublic, You are a wonderful voice of reason. Of course, I agree with you completely in this matter. I love his enthusiasm and commitment to what he believes in. I can see both sides, though, about the reaction to his speech. Someone mentioned that he was spewing hate; I feel the same way about Rush Limbaugh most of the time. It all hinges on what party we support. I'm hoping for a day when the parties are closer in thought.

Kelly - IMHO, we're divided because of both sides.
