At leat the convection looks deep and impressive, but we need see if Quikscat shows this as a low pressure, or just a bunch of thunderstorms.

For sure it looks intensive, maybe if it continues showing signs of organization something will evolve in the next 12 - 24 hours.

Convection like that very deep has to persist for 24 hours to then take a second look to the area. But besides the convection a surface low has to form or if it is in the area it must be under that red blob and then we are talking development. But so far TPC has not opened eyebrows in their discussions.Maybe tommorow morning if that convective area is there and they are sure with microwave data that a surface low has formed under the blob they may put out an invest.

I have to agree. Should at minimum be an invest. And do believe since the ULL is now to the SW that it is helping vent the system. In my amateurish opinion.

We need rain badly here in Florida, but the forecast at least for South Florida is not very wet. The grass looks more dead than alive. But fortunately anything last forever.

Maybe nothing would form from here, no one surely knows, but it looks extremely impressive, more impressive than yesterday. Probably is something transitory, but still looks breath-taking.
