msbee wrote:heavy rain here

That is related to the tropical wave nearing the ST Marteen longitud and now is interacting with the surface trough in the caribbean so msbee expect a rainy night there.

An update this morning from Puerto Rico.At least no flood warnings were in effect last night as we were lucky as the bulk of the rains missed us but still some heavy downpours occured. This morning Puerto Rico still is under the threat of more rain and in fact rain and thunderstorms are falling in the southeast and south part of the island.Let's see if no warnings have to be issued but I think that today some may go up.Hopefully all this bad weather begins to tapper off by midweek as the dynamics that are now producing all of this precipitation goes away.
