There appears to be a very nice looking tropical wave around 20 west....Wow I'm starting to think that the weather patterns(Climate might just be changing just a little) In I'm not one to fall for that so fast my self.
Into top it off there seems to be a mid level cirualtion with the one at 8 north/33 west.

Until the jet just to the N of the ITCZ moves away or disapates nothing is going to have a chance after about 24 hours out there and it is still early for the zone to be moving N. Thus the wave closest to the Caribbean is moving into SA. If this PARADE continues when things are in position WE WILL HAVE ONE HECK OF AN ACTIVE SEASON!!!

coming to this thread late.. posted my own topic on this a minute ago..
Looks like this time last year... Very active out there for May... It does not have a chance right now.. Just to early.. But I would start looking for a possible developer near July... Remember Bertha in 1996... It was a early eastern Atlantic, mean development region hurricane... Just love this time of year.. Hard to belive it is almost here again!!
