Kerry Flip-Flops Yet Again on Abortion
As anyone with a brain except Sen. John Kerry could have predicted, pro-abortion groups and other Democrats immediately started screaming after Kerry said Wednesday that he was open to nominating pro-life judges.

Handlers quickly issued a statement that Kerry would not name anyone to the Supreme Court who supported abortion control.

"He is sending a very confusing message," Eleanor Smeal, president of Feminist Majority, complained today.

Kerry being Kerry, this is not his biggest episode of flip-flopping on abortion. Like Al Gore and Dick Gephardt before they developed ambitions for the White House, he once opposed abortion wrongs.

Although his campaign claims he was always pro-abortion, he said when running for Congress in 1972: "It's a tragic day in the lives of everybody when abortion is looked on as an alternative to birth control or as an alternative to having a child. I think that's wrong. It should be the very last thing if it has to be anything, and I say that not just because I'm opposed to abortion but because I think that's common sense."

I wonder if he is really "open" to nominating pro-life judges. In the freak event that he does win the election, that would be nice. However, I don't buy it. This is just him doing what he does best...trying to appeal to the voters on both sides of abortion. Sooner or later, before the election, he is going to really have to stand up for what he believes in, whatever that is.

That cartoon is hilarious!!!

You know if Kerry is elected  he could be the first candidate to vote for himself, before he votes against himself and would be the first President to give the State of the Union and rebuttal. LOL, that'll be fun to watch. :)
