ANOTHER POSSIBILITY FOR THE CARIBBEAN
We have an area of shower and thunderstorms south of the Dominican Republic and Puerto Rico, also we have an approaching tropical wave to the Lesser Antilles. I think that maybe the interaction between both weather phenomenon could cause a low pressure to form under the thunderstorms and the possibility of development. Comments

That could very well happen, at least something to happen. While this was a fun pre-season teaser, a May storm is, I hate to use the term, overdue. The last May storm we had was in 1981, I believe. There was never a period of over 20 years where there wasn't a May storm, so there may be one last chance.
