Laura Bush is even respected by the media. She is a great lady.

I as a female do not respect Hillary.

I try and I try to find some redeeming character trait in Hillary that has some substance. I admire her courage during the Presidential years, and I even admire her ability to somehow keep herself above all that transpired in the White House under her husband's watch...

But somehow I find myself expecting more than I see.

Hillary Clinton...

I wonder if some dislike Hillary because they hate Bill so much. Therefore, those who dislike GW may also find Laura a bit dull. Just a thought... :D

why do you have to bully her

#69 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 10:06 pm

why do people here have to bully Hillary ...that shows total disrespect to a person that never personally bothered any of you. That is just wrong ....anyone who calls her names and tells mean jokes towards her is just a bully. Why not try having more empathy....How would you like it if millions of people called you names and mocked you and hated you...Its easy to be in the background and call people names its harder to be in the spot light and take all the horrible things people say about you ignoring ANY good part that you might have. That is just wrong wrong wrong. Have a heart people ...she did nothing to any of you.

P.S- even if you think she is a bad person you STILL shouldnt mock her because if you do then you sink down to her level ...even by your own thinking that is what happens ...you are just as bad as she is. Now thats irony.

Are we all adults here or are we stuck in Junior High school calling names and mocking and sticking our tongues out like little kids......so juvenile. So immature.

be a Christian

#70 Postby SolarQuestions » Thu May 20, 2004 10:09 pm

The bible says to love thy enemy....we should try to love the person we like least ...because in all irony they need love the most to heal the problem the other person says they have.

Repulicans are suppose to be christian in general so they should love thy enemy.

Live like Christ ....he wouldnt mock or ridicule or try to hurt feelings in a petty juvenile name calling tongue sticking out way.

Live like Christ. Tell that to the Rev. Fred Phelps.

Love thy enemy. I understand that in many ways. And I'd wish no harm on Hillary. But how sincerely can you love your enemy as you stare out the window of your 110-story office building, watching in confusion as the nose of a plane gets closer and closer until it strikes with full force, crashing through the window (and through most of a large chunk of the side of the building) and against your body, crushing you and several of your coworkers and office furniture together and then erupting into a huge fireball before you can even say, "Amen?"

Are you not being just as judgmental, using terms like "bully," "juvenile," and "immature?"

Why are you not defending the others we mock, now or in the past -- Monica Lewinsky, Tonya Harding, Michael Jackson, Michael Moore, Ben Affleck, Rock Hudson, Miss Cleo, Janet and Justin, Demi Moore, Jimmy Carter, Anna Nicole, Shirley Maclaine, Courtney Love, John Bobbitt, Todd Bridges, Roman Polanski, George Michael, and at least 500 or so celebrity couples?

LOL! This is a free country. I think we're allowed to make jokes about former First ladies or anyone else. I joke about Hans Blix all the time, LOL
