'Agatha' History

The name "Agatha" has been used by the Eastern Pacific Ocean believed or not, 7 times, if this system evolves into Agatha it will be its 8th appearance. The first time the name "Agatha" was in 1967 and amazingly Mexico has been directly affected one time and that was May 21, 1971 as a Cat. 1 hurricane. Concluding, Agatha is a very known name in the Eastern Pacific and we my see it being used in the next few weeks if this disturbance continues to organize until it meets the requirements to receive a name. I think that this system would dissipate in the next few days and we will be still talking about possible development in the Caribbean. :lol:

Should continue to move WNW-NW and eventually dissipate over cooler waters.

Jason, according to the latest computer predictions you are 100% true, but we have to remember that it's still in its formative form, and when tropical systems are in this stage dramatic changes are possible. After all, I think it will just be marine interest.

I think it will be like 95% of East Pacific Storms. It will move west-northwestward, and die eventually due to cool waters.
