Think I'm gonna float away

#1 Postby southerngale » Tue May 18, 2004 5:09 pm

A small storm has been parked over my house for a little over an hour and I've had nearly 3 inches of rain in my rain gauge already. I've got a lake in my front yard and the big ditch that runs along the side of my property and behind my house eventually into Pine Island Bayou looks like a raging river. I can't help but find it funny as my dad who is about 3 miles to my north right now isn't getting any rain and nothing at my parent's house, who live about 7 miles to my south. And here I am about to wash away. lol

My house is the red dot that isn't moving just to the nw of the + sign by Beaumont.

I know that all of you have been inundated with rain for the last couple of weeks! I hope that you all catch a break soon!

Yeah send it this way. Have a chance for storms here everyday thru Saturday but the last couple of days everything that blows up nearby seems to fall apart or miss me completely.
