Please keep your fingers crossed...
In my area (and I think in most of the country), there is a long waiting list to get into nursing school. There are soooooo many applicants and only limited seats available in the program. I have been accepted into one school's program for the January 2005 class. I found out that another school in my area has 30 seats left in their August 2004 class. So I put my application in today. I should hear back by mid June. Please keep your fingers crossed for me that I get into the August class. I've been in college for two years now taking general education and science courses. I'm soooo tired of waiting. I want to start this summer. Thanks for any well wishes!
...Jennifer...
P.S. I'll let everyone know whether or not I get in come mid June.

Good luck, Jen. My wife is in nursing school. She will do Nursing III for 5 weeks this summer (psyciatric nursing), then do Nursing V this fall. Graduation will be in DECEMBER YIPPIIIIEEEEE. Oddly enough, she did Nursing I, II, IV, then will do III this summer, but they only teach that class during the summer because they have to go to Meridian to the mental hospital there
I'm not sure how your program works, but the one my wife is in is supposed to be one of the best (if not the best) in the state of Mississippi. It's been very hard on her, tho.
