Congratulations on your half million. Despite volitility in the weather bulletin board world your site has prospered and now is one of the top 3 or 4 around. Lots going on recently, one board tired of the mayhem, another one trying to get into gear and curtail the mayhem, you all steadfast with an approach that many rail at but to me your general concept is bearing fruit. Thanks! Just proves that a nice, family friendly atmosphere works. Glad the other site has followed S2K's lead and rid itself of bad news. Hopefully, other sites will follow.

As I have said all along. ALL OF US CAN PROSPER IF WE ALL DO THE RIGHT THING!! For some it is what we have done at S2K, for others it may be a slightly different approach, but with the exception of an obvious few most weather sites have a place(niche)that they can fill. IT IS NOT A COMPETITION!! IT SHOULD BE A COLLABORATION WITH EACH ONE ALWAYS STRIVING TO BE THE BEST THEY CAN!!

The administration at WW BB was given no choice with the move they made. If they had not shut down that portion of the WW BB I am sure the feds would have. THE IGNORANT POST THAT CAUSED IT, JOKING OR NOT, IS A FEDERAL OFFENSE!!!! I APPLAUD MIKE ET AL FOR STEPPING UP and doing what they had to do. IT IS MOST UNFORTUNATE THAT THEY WERE FORCED TO DO IT!!!

The feds had already been involved with that site a bit over a poster impersonating the mic at Sterling so it probably did not help that some adverse attention had already come thier way.
