Questions raised...
Before anyone jumps on me, the following link is NOT my site - it's just something that I came across in my surfing. War is hell, I think we'll all agree on that. I know I've angered many of you with my views but I'm still trying to make sense of a senseless war. This just confuses me more.

Eh, Janswizard, don't let the conspiracy theorists confuse you.
They're as bad as the nuts who say 9/11 never happened OR 9/11 did happen but we (the US) did it because they claim that a missile can be seen being fired from one of the planes before it hits the tower (I've seen the pics. It looks weird, but not very convincing).
So Nick Berg was wearing an orange jumpsuit and sitting in a white chair? I've seen pics of Iraqi kids wearing Pepsi t-shirts and Lakers jerseys. It doesn't mean they're not really in Iraq, does it?

Oh yeah! That too!
I'm sure our government has done some bizarre stuff at times and then tried to cover it up. I still don't know what to believe about JFK. There's corruption everywhere from police forces to our education system and on up into our federal ranks. And it's obvious from the prison photos that there are bad apples in every group. But we can't paint them all with the same brush. We just need to trust that those in power are doing what's best for us and we need to use our brains to discern what's truth from fiction in regards to all the information being thrown at us from all angles.

It hurts nothing to ask all the questions...to pick away at the possibilities. For some people, trying to make sense out of things that don't make sense means not trusting anyone. Some of the comparisons and some of the forensics are the very things that those in US intelligence and the US FBI would use to try to define where, when, why, how, and who. The fact that those chairs are in Arab countries, that similar paint exists, that white shoes are in the photo can just as easily explain the very reason why this was an Al Queda occurrence.
No harm in asking or questioning. It sharpens the skills.

No questions raised here!!
You know, I try very hard to keep a civil tongue on this forum but it's comments like this that really raise my ire. I bow down to you, Lindaloo, since you seem to be the know-all and be-all of Storm2K when it comes to politics. Do you think for one minute that our government is above keeping things from the American people? Do you go to bed at night thinking that all is well with the world because our leadership is in the hands of the Republicans? I would much rather question something that I don't understand than just take what is handed me as gospel. And because I'm questioning it, it doesn't mean I don't have a clue (as you put it).

Do you actually feel that you are questioning this article? NO. You are out to bash Bush and our military any way you can. On the article at hand, the article is nothing but a bunch of left wing sicko view. When I say some people have NO CLUE I am talking about the author of the article.
And yes, I go to bed at night with a clear conscience that the President of the United States is doing everything he can to keep the American people safe, including myself. I am not on the government cover up bandwagon. I think for myself and not what others think is the real deal. And sorry, but I doubt that the military killed Berg as stated in this article. Why are there questions about this?!!
I never once thought nor think I am the know it all of politics here at S2K. But, I do know that you do NOT have questions. Therefore, I question the questions. Do I have a right to question the questions? You damn well better believe I do!!

I did NOT bash Bush or the military nor was I attempting to. It's rather presumptious of you to just assume I was. In fact, I never mentioned the President at all in my post. It's also rather presumptious of you to assume that I am in agreement with the article.

You posted it to question it. That is enough said right there. There is no questioning it. Well gee jans, you did not have to mention Bush for me to know what you mean.

And now you're a mindreader. Could it be that I'm questioning WHY stuff like this is coming out? Is it possible that I'm trying to understand this war? No, of course not. I'm registered as an Independant (and won't be voting Democratic this year) and that's reason enough to belittle me every chance you get.

I am also an Independant. If you thought this then you would not have posted it in the manner you did.
But, in answer to your question of "making sense of this war" my answer is NO this article is nothing but a sicko view.

I think that the heading on the top of his website says it all "The most dangerous man on the Internet".
I agree with Poppysky, it is important to question things that are going on.
However, those chairs come a dime a dozen. How does he know what was is good Arabic and what is bad? I agree with Duck that over the years, there are alot of things that have happened out there that have been questionable, and we'll probably never find out the answer, but I think that Mark here is grasping at straws.

I too go to bed at night feeling secure that my safety is in the hands of a Republican president. Jan, I don't think this is a senseless war and I believe that my nephew and his wife, who are both Marine pilots and fighting for our country, are very proud to defend you, your family and our way of life. This fight is against terror!!!!
After 9/11 I didn't feel very safe. The plane that crashed in Pa. more than likely flew right over my house. I haven't felt that threatened since the Cuban missile crisis. I think our President has done and excellent job of making me feel secure again.
Do I agree with all of his decisions, heck no. I'm in the steel industry - can't agree with all of them, but I know that during this perilous time in history, his actions are strong and just. I will defend him and our fighting heros no matter what. I remember all too well what happened with our Vietnam vets and we can't let that happen again. I say stand up for your country, it's leaders and our soldiers!!!!!!!

These theories are a dime a dozen....Like others have said, there have been many theories about 9/11, from the 767 firing a missile (probably the most unrealistic theory out there) to a missile being launched into the Pentagon to the Israelis. Obviously, anyone with common sense can see right through these theories, just like the one about Berg posted here.
Keep this in mind: Anyone can make a website and say whatever they want on it. Just because it is on the internet doesn't mean that it is true...
