Survivor Season Finale

#1 Postby TexasStooge » Mon May 10, 2004 8:02 am

Did anyone watch the Survivor Season Finale last night?

My family did while my mom was recording "Harry Potter" special edition.

Yep, sure did. I'll wait to see if others have yet before I comment.

Karan - me too. I've already voted for him twice this morning. I hope you can vote twice. My second vote took. Laura told me as she went off to school today - Mom, vote for Rupert!!!! He was our favorite, without a doubt.

He just seems like a really good, kind, sweet "cave man". I love the way he adores his wife.

I wasn't sure if I was actually watching it live or a replay from Thursday night (wasn't it usually on Thursdays?). Now I know it was the first time everyone saw it.

I was not a big fan of Boston Rob's the first go around and of course, I didn't really care this time, because I only saw one episode of Survivor this year (the one where Sue got ticked off and decided to leave the show -- "violated???"). But I did think the proposal was sweet. I'm glad she won instead of him.

I suppose I'm torn between Colby (Texas boy) and Rupert, although I liked Jenna in her first Survivor (the one who stayed not the one who left).

I wonder -- if Jerri Matheny won, would she take the money? :o)

Shannon - here's the link!

http://www.cbs.com/primetime/survivor8/ ... ndex.shtml

You have until sometime on Wednesday but now I can't find the actual deadline. It's somewhere probably on the main page:

http://www.cbs.com

Results will be revealed Thursday, May 13 at 8 p.m. So I would think voting ends somtime tomorrow. But I would vote TODAY and often! You can read everyone's taped message as to why he/she should win. I imagine it would be funny to watch Jerri's! Because, IMHO, she has the least chance of winning. I don't know of anyone that likes that girl. And I still say, without a doubt, Rupert ~should~ win and I have a very strong feeling he will. He made it to the final four!

I believe the deadline was midnight last night/this morning. I think that's what Jeff said.

I'll just have to miss it because the Frasier finale and ER's season finale are tonight. Based on what I've seen on a handful of website polls, your boy Rupert is the fave, Mary! :) I voted for him.

He's just lucky Elisabeth wasn't an All-Star. She's my all-time fave.

I was just talking to my best friend about this and both her & her mom voted for Rupert. I've only seen a few episdoes, but Rupert definitely appeared to be the ultimate "survivor".

Shannon - that was a feature on the cbc website but I wasn't sure it went thru or not. Glad to hear it did!

Shawn - yes it sure sounds like Rupert is the fave. I read a quote in an interview from Rob M. He said he's hoping people got mixed up when they voted, between - Robert and Rupert. In other words, he was wants votes accidentally. Now see here Boston Rob, I made darn sure I clicked on RUPERT each and everytime. As if people would mix up those names.....LOL And it probably said Rob, not Robert, not that I even considered voting for him.

Fur - my entire family kept telling me they didn't like Rob. And clearly Rupert stood out from the last Survivor. He was their fave. It's a good thing I didn't like Rob!!! They would have kicked me out of the family room. I'm a late comer to this Survivor thing but now I'm hooked. When I think of Rob I think of how he always pronounced Amber's name - Ambuh.......LOL And for a while there didn't they have a nickname, Romber? :-)

I didn't like Rob at all during the first Survivor on which he appeared, although I hardly watched it. This time around, I saw hardly any of it and I still didn't like him. I'm just glad that, for the finale, he finally got rid of that darn cap he had on his head all the time!!
