SEVERE WEATHER STATEMENT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE WICHITA KS
920 PM CDT WED MAY 12 2004

...A TORNADO WARNING CONTINUES FOR SUMNER AND HARPER COUNTIES UNTIL
1015 PM CDT...

AT 920 PM CDT...A TRAINED SPOTTER REPORTED A LARGE TORNADO 4 MILES
NORTHWEST OF ANTHONY. RADAR SHOWED THIS TORNADIC STORM MOVING EAST
AT 10 MPH.

THE TORNADO WILL BE
NEAR HARPER AROUND 925 PM CDT...
NEAR DANVILLE AROUND 955 PM CDT...
NEAR ARGONIA AROUND 1015 PM CDT...

SPOTTERS ALSO REPORTED A SECOND TORNADO ON THE GROUND...1 MILE SOUTH
OF DANVILLE IN NORTHEASTERN HARPER COUNTY. THIS TORNADO WAS ALSO
MOVING EAST AT 10 MPH.

A LARGE AND DESTRUCTIVE TORNADO IS ON THE GROUND! MOVE INTO YOUR
TORNADO SHELTER NOW!

REPEATING...A TORNADO WARNING CONTINUES FOR SUMNER AND HARPER
COUNTIES UNTIL 1015 PM CDT.

This storm has caused major damage in Harper County and we have large and destructive tornadoes in progress.

I had reports of road closing due to debris in the roadway in Harper and Sumner Co's last evening. Looks as if she was a large one. Saw a video of her on TWC last night near the town of Attica??? I believe that was the name.
