I feel the same way!

I hope that the MidAtlantic/NE can get in on it as well - at least a minor one.

I know Florida's gonna get tons of them, but I'll say Texas.

I say Texas.

It has had more tropical activity in recent years than Florida.

ANd lets not forget Texas is the #2 state as far as tropical acticity is concerned.

2 of the Analog years being used for this by Dr William Gray.

1961 and 1980 had a Major Hurricane landfall in Texas.

another year was 2001 which of course had Tropical Storm Allison.

This points towards Texas getting it this year.

Just my opinion of course.

Sorry Luis but with the way things are Looking with the steering patterns that look to be shaping up one cannot ignore the ISLAND'S down in the Caribbean. They would be in my high risk area as well as the Florida westcoast over to SE.LA. With two focal points being between Tampa and the Keys and the other from SE.LA over to Pensacola, FL. Then my other area of most concern would be from Hatteras up the coast to the NE.

Just remember folks the areas mentioned above is what i think has the highest "chance" of seeing a land falling system (Hurricane)and does not mean it wont happen elsewhere outside the areas i mentioned above.

One prediction that i wish would have busted. :(

Well Puerto Rico got a strong tropical storm Jeanne but our friends in Grenada ,Jamaica, Cayman Islands got hammered by Ivan. But in terms of this poll Sadly I nailed it as we know Florida was the state that got almost all.

And your weird feeling couldn't have been more correct ...

Good call all the way from back in May, KOW... whether the call is a popular or unpopular one, you have to call it like you see it, and that you did ...

KOW painfully you said it right about Puerto Rico being affected by a system in 2004 and that was Jeanne a good call that you made.I will do a similar poll in 2005 so let's do it again next year.
