I was just thinking that Michelle, (snowmans wife) has a sister that is part of the horse community here, and wondered if she is OK, or if she lives out where the fires are....HAS anyone HEARD from snowman since Sunday?
Snowman, if you read this, and if your sister in law is in danger, please contact me, and let me know anyway I can help...We are available to help in any way we can...
I've been keeping the wildfire thread updated with latest conditions of the fire...
Snowman...where are you?

Hi Shannon!
It's me, I'm still alive and well! Just busier than HADES! Michelle and I have been pulling 24 hours a month of Reserve Duty with the PD doing "Fire Patrol"....checking campgrounds for illegal campfires, etc.
We haven't heard from Marci in a coupla days, no answer on her cell phone, we're becoming a might bit concerned...I'm SURE if her horses were in danger, we'd know about it!
Thanks for the concern, like Stephanie said, we've been SO DAM busy, the business is kickin' our butts, the SAR Unit is BUSY and now pulling 24 hours a month instead of our 8 hours a month of duty, I don't have TIME for NUTHIN' and what REALLY sux....my golf clubs are rusting "LOL!"

Yes! I'm glad to hear from you...the news reported fire fighters and such from AZ here fighting, and I wondered if ya'll hadn't come to town to help! Let us know when you hear from Marci tho, I'm sure No news is good news in this case! I went back to where the fire had been by all the horse farms, and it burned all the way to the farms, but the firefighters saved all the farms...*applause*

It IS great news Steph, and the fire is 60% contained now....our cooler temps are helping! I think 20 some homes have been lost so far in just the Eagle fire alone, but remember an even bigger fire is burning just North of us near Lake Elsinore, and that one has claimed homes as well...SOOO Much more has been saved then burned though....another round of *applause* to all the firefighters!
