Cassia, FL and vinicity got hit hard between 12:30 am and 2:00 am, as did the Clermont area earlier in the evening, but apparently not as bad. A similar setup is expected today.

Chad, you are about 25 miles NNE of Orlando, not NE.

I am 40 to 45 miles west of Deltona and about 45 miles northwest of Orlando.

The cold front passage isn't expected until Monday night-Tuesday morning.

Still looks like it could get wild here as well 8-) I'm waiting on storms--but guess mother nature wants to let the atmosphere cook a lil more before popping around here.

We got hammered about 330am. I went to bed about 945pm. There was a line in the middle of the state and some cells near polk county. Well obviously it shot off an outflow boundary. It woke me up and kept me up for about two hours. I never heard thunder that loud  What a light show. I wanted to turn the puter on and check it out on radar but I didn't want to take the chance. *Edit* I found the activity I spoke of  Email I received 250 am EDT sun may 2 2004

Strong thunderstorms...moving northwest at 25 mph...will affect
Tarpon Springs...Holiday...Port Richey and New Port Richey...until
330 am EDT. Gusty winds 40 to 50 mph may cause loose objects to blow
around. Minor damage to tree limbs and wires is possible. Frequent
cloud to ground lightning is expected. If caught outside...Crouch
down in a low spot...away from tall objects. Torrential rains will
cause ponding of water on roads...and minor flooding of poor
drainage areas. Some small hail is also possible.
