This is the general tropical discussion area. Anyone can take their shot at predicting a storms path.

Question??

#1 Postby Guest » Fri Apr 23, 2004 5:01 pm

I know that some people don't have a lot of time, but I have a question!
What would you like to hear, have available, ect, during the Barometer Bob Shows?
You tell me, and I will try my best to do what I can!

I listen almost everytime. :P You cover all the current situations and the possible future ones. I think once cane season starts..we won't have any room for anything else. Maybe you could add a segment on certain weather phenomina.. for the amateurs..such as myself. For example. what is upwelling and why does it occur. I think more people need to call in and ask their own questions but I think an educational segment would help those uncomfortable with calling or Iming. Just a though. I have learned a lot form you Bob. Keep up the good work :)

Thats a great idea!!! I have already planned this beginning with the first show of the hurricane season!
I am still working on the phones. I can hear the caller, the caller can hear me, the listener can hear me, but the listener can't hear the caller. It is a sound card error, and this is being worked on. Hopefully, I will have the phones working soon with a toll free number!!!

Weather trivia would be cool too. Just for fun but then eventually maybe we could give prizes. Discounts for S2K gear and maybe even bigger things in the future. I am home sick and brainstorming so I will have more later :P

Well, Bob does do giveaways, but he hasn't since his move. I'm hoping he gets that started up again pretty soon. I'm going into withdrawals. :(

Dude, you have won so many prizes!!! I may have to make the questions harder. Yes, the giveaways will start soon. There is so much going on that I haven't had much time to contact companies for giveaways.
Weather trivia is normally the questions for the giveaways, and I did go through some weather history the last show.
What can everyone do for the show is Spread the Word!!! Get people to listen, and participate. The more listeners we get, the better chances for sponsors and advertisers!!!
But, I can't forget those of you that do listen. Thank You!!! Next Thursday night at 9pm/et!!!

Barometer Bob... don't make the questions harder. I want to win something.

No, seriously, I have only listened a couple of times, but I really enjoy the show and I am glad you archive them. Sometimes I have to listen to them after the fact.

Maybe Bob, you can mention a sum-up of all of 2003. A MINUTE A STORM, EXCEPTION OF THE BIG STORMS.

You know, I thought of that, but it's been done so many times. We may still cover it, but last year is history. I will have a lot of info that relates to storms of last season.
