Morning everyone! It looks like the rain has stopped here. It has been raining since around 8:00 last night. My sister is in a band competition in Branson today. After that, they are going to Silver Dollar City so I hope it clears up for them.

Have a good day! :multi:

Hello everyone on the porch!!! Can't find the prayer topic for some reason, so I thought I'd pop in here. Today is Stephanie's colonoscopy. I just thought it would be nice to send her lots of well wishes and prayers too! Thanks in advance, I know her friends here will think of her. She mentioned the need for this test on the former prayer topic, so some of you may know about it.

Amen to that....may Stephanie's test go well and the results be favorable. I know the worst part is already over as I write.

Have a good day everyone. Have you noticed the daffodils over their by the bird bath?

Those daffodils are sweet!!! May I pick one to take to the wife for a surprise at lunch?

As you said Steve, the worst part is over for Stephanie except for the waiting on the results. Prayers of good fortune and wishes for a quick return to normal are flying out of W Houston at this moment.

Yes, my prayers and well wishes go out to Steph too. (hugs to you when you read this).

Brian's brother died from cancer this week. I also ask that you keep Brian's mother and brothers and sister in your prayers as they prepare for the funeral, and find the peace to get through this time. As far as we know, he never knew the Lord, which is very tragic, though he did ask to speak to a Catholic Priest a few weeks ago. Thanks in advance to the mighty prayer warriors assembled here at Storm2k.

We're having unexpected houseguests again this week, as my aunts camping trip in the desert went awry when her vehicle broke down...she's being towed to Temecula as we speak, so she can have it repaired here, and have a warm home to stay in during this process. She lives in Northern Ca, and though it's unfortunate her vacation was cut short, I welcome the visit with her and her friend.

Peace to all...

Thinkig of Steph, and, sending a speedy
"get-well" in my prayers!

Furluv, I'm sorry to hear about
Brian's brother - prayers are on their way!

Garrett, we've gotten quite a bit of much-needed
rain, too. The garden sure needed that drink
to push those seeds along. Looks like the onions
grew another inch, overnight!

I'm going to put up my hammock chair in the
corner of the porch, here, and, look at those
lovely daffodils and rest, for a while...

I hope everyone has a good evening!

Good Evening from SOMEWHERE in Az!

Don't know where I'm at, what's this, everything looks different!?!?!? OH.....the WIND blew me over here "LOL!"

MAN! Whatta WINDY day THIS has been, had a peak gust of 62 MPH about an hour ago, had to go offline, the power was flickering! WELL..they took the snow OUT of the forecast for us BUT...Utah, Colorado (parts of anyways) has a HEAVY SNOW WARNING! Pretty strange!

Here's a prayer for Stephanie, POOR THING! And prayers for you too Furry!

Not much else going on, just the WIND...."Aaaaugh!" ANYWAYS...have a MARVY evening and a BETTER tomorrow!

Oh Furry, the prayers are on their way for Brian and his family as well as you as you minister to them. It is indeed a time when they can use all the undergirding available and the Mighty Prayer Warriors are at hand. Please pass along my sympathies to all!!

Stephanie is still getting the prayers thrown her way!! It does take a day or so to fully recover, or at least it does for this old man.

Dennis!!! Put out your hand!!!! I'll grab it!!! Yikes!! 62 mph!!!! We're not quite to Hurricane Season yet!!!! SLOW DOWN!!!!

Our house is in disarray again, more so than it was at least, as we have the contractor in repairing damages from the flood finally!!! I look forward to the finished product, which I don't have to do myself for once!!!!

Hope EVERYONE HAS A WONDERFUL WEEKEND!!!

Good morning ya'll. Thank you for keeping us and Brian's family in your prayers as we all prepare to say final goodbyes. Brian is not able to be with his family for the services, due to an important meeting at his new job. (They said he could go, but advised that they wouldn't miss this meeting if given the choice). Tough decision and seems a little unfair.

Meanwhile, enjoying the visit with my aunt and her friend. We're going to drive up to the Palomar Observatory today...

Dennis...hold on to your hat buddy...sounds like some crazy winds!

Still thinking of you this morning Steph...hope all is well and on the mend...

Blessings and well wishes wished to all...

Shannon, So sorry to hear about Brian's brother, and also that Brian won't be able to be there for the services. Prayers of comfort and peace for his family and for you both.

Steph, You take care and heal up. I pray all the test results will come back negative.

Hi everyone. :) Just wanted to stop in and announce I may be away for a few days to enjoy my birthday. I will not be going far though as cash is limited; but I will definitely be gone most of the day on Sunday and likely again on Tuesday. So see you soon!

Jeremy, LOL, you'd better post those prom pics -
don't make me drive up to Kentucky!! ;)
That's so wonderful - our school in Summertown
was so small, back a million years ago,
when I graduated, that, we didn't even have
a prom - we had a picnic at the park, instead!
Enjoy yourself, my friend!

Well I won't make you come up here...but if you want to come up then cool...as for the picnic well our school is much too large for that! If we did that, we'd just about have to rent out the Smoky Mountain National park LOL! Oh and you're not a million years old either!
