Nothing new once again as the mean and anomaly temps in the equatorial pacific east of 160w are the same as 4 weeks ago 0-0c-+0.5c so in other words no el nino is in the virge of appearing anytime soon unless something unexpected comes to bring el nino more early like a huge kelvin wave from the western pacific eastward as the hurricane season in the atlantic is around the corner and without el nino factor present then other factors will then be important to see how the season pans out in the atlantic basin.
