I got an email from Marshall yesterday with the extension .pif, which in all likelihood contained a virus. I did NOT open it, deleted it IMMEDIATELY and checked with him to see if he had actually sent anything, which he had not. According to his explanation, someone who has both of our email addresses IS infected however, so once again, BE CAREFUL WHAT EMAILS YOU OPEN. Thanks to Marshall for his quick reply. A reminder, and I'm sure this is redundant-but just cuz an email LOOKS to be from one of your buddies on here, doesn't necessarily make it safe. And yes, before you ask, I do have McAfee installed on here, but for those less techno-savvy, thought I would give a heads up.
