Not a tropical system of course but none the less heavy rain is a definate & isolated severe weather is not out of the question!

Yikes...keep those weather radios on tonight...looks like the worst of the system passing through south Florida will occur over night.

That is as many reds and yellows I can recall seeing in a radar return since I've lived down here...except of course Andrew.

SPC is all over it...here's the latest mesoscale discussion...wouldn't be shocked to see a tornado watch go up in the next hour or so.

This activity was expected to occur further north, closer to, if not over my area; if not both southern and central Florida.
The chance of thunderstorms isn't that low for the overnight period into Tuesday. We'll see.

Some reports of strong winds & alot of moderate to heavy rains last night in many locations around South Fla( Key West broke some sort of rainfall record)...Some moderate rains in my immediate area,I did'nt wiitness it I was fast asleep,apparently I did'nt miss anything worth seeing anyway.
