Thanks! Some posters here might know me from the HurricaneCity message board. (I posted as "BillBrd1")

Hi Barometer Bob! I missed ya!

Anyway, to those who don't know me, I am very interested in hurricanes. I was obsessed with them when I was about 9-12 years old. (I have Asperger's Syndrome.)

I like collecting pictures of hurricane satellite images.

I have a ton of them, including a radar pic of Hurricane Alice from January 1955, and a pic of Hurricane Joan. I found the Joan pic on the internet and printed it out in September 2002. Shortly thereafter, it was gone from the internet.

I'll warn you, I tend to babble and sometimes just spout off random hurricane facts. But I try to post interesting posts.

29. The Weather Channel will continuously tow the "official line" even when it's the official "out of line"

30. Everyone in Tampa will find a reason why a north Gulf storm will not behave according to the models or the NHC. Everyone in Texas will argue steering currents are not what they appear to be. Everyone in Louisiana will find an argument as to why the Texans and Floridians are out of their minds. Everyone in Mississippi will claim the same thing. Everyone in North Carolina will be arguing with the Gulf Coasters that any longtracker surely is going to find a trof to take it up their way.

31. Someone from the Orlando area to the sky-coast will talk about deflector shields.

Enjoyed the thread.
