I thought my school no longer allows fighting...

...I guess I was mistaken! :(

On Friday during lunch, there was another fight over nothin'!

It seems like some kids think fighting is the only way to solve their problems, the only problem is, it just accelerates their problems and chances of detention.

So many people think that violence is the answer Stooge. Just be glad that you are one of those who knows the real truth.

I wouldn't say that your school allows fighting, the kids fighting are going to fight whatever a schools stance on fighting or agression is.

The truth about whether the school actually doesn't allow fighting will come out in the punishments that are given out to those who insist on fighting. If there is no punishment given then the schools stance is BS and students like you TS and Parents of students like you need to take it straight to the media if you do not recieve a satisfactory answer as to why nothing was done after they made this announcement.

Issues are said to be enforced and typically are not. As I mentioned in your original thread on this, Michael, I don't see what any school would "tolerate fighting."

accelerates their problems and chances of detention.

If the punishment is a detention then thats the problem  You get that many kids in one place together fights are going to happen.. No ifs and's or butts about it.. As long as its dealt with properly afterwards, then they may just think twice the next time
