Your principal issue when you go to vote at the election in november which one is the most important.

I dont vote here in Puerto Rico for president so I am neutral about this.

If you say other issues than the ones in the poll you can name that and tell why you think that one is the most important.

Border Security is part of National Security though neither Candidate seems to think so which is why I'll vote for neither Kerry nor Bush. Environment is an important issue as is the economy but again neither Candidate turns me on in those categories either. I happen to agree with the "Governator" that Gay Marriage is an issue for the people and the Courts to decide and not a Constitutional Amendment so I'm against Bush there and Abortion was declared legal years ago so all we are doing there is flogging a dead horse.

Out of the 5 issues listed, the economy, national security and the environment are the ones I feel are most important. I believe a woman has the right to choose and as of now, the laws are written that way. Gay marriage should be a state issue, not a federal one and I think that in the end, it will be decided by individual states.

National security/war on terror, including CLOSING our borders; gun ownership/right to carry; and tellling the UN to vacate the premises in NYC (which could be better used for upscale housing) and sending them offshore to some "friendly" location like, say, Haiti.

This, I could live with. :D

National security which also includes the border issues - we need to 'shake the trees" as someone quoted. This is a complex, multifaceted issue which I think only one person may be qualified to handle with its width and breath. Then also of course, the economy which stinks. People are stopping spending as they are loosing their jobs faster now than ever; one businessperson I spoke with this afternoon said 'things are hell all over' because of the lack of work - and lack of corresponding buying from consumers. Everyone's hurting. Remember that Bush was only in office 200-some days before 9/11, when the economy essentially went into the toidy for the duration. I bet you all know multiple people out of work now as I do. It was not his fault and one person is not going to get us out of the crisis unless they can instantly self-generate those 2.9 million jobs that were overestimated (by 2.9 million). If you don't think GW can do it, do you think JK can?

It has to be National Security. The economy is improving and the other issues are nothing compared to the current terror threat.

1. National Security
2. Economy
3. Anything else that may come up.

I think that the environment as an issue is a non-issue. The environment is not in as bad of shape as some would have us think. The environment is actually better off now than 1oo years ago. There are more important items on the docket.
