Cat 2
I think the hurricane was easily a cat 2 at landfall with sustained winds of about 100 mph. And the Brazilian mets werent out to lunch on this one, they were on vacation. How in the hell could anyone with half a brain call this extratropical with 50 mph winds? Incredible.
