Spectacular photo that must be saved of hurricane off Brazil

Of course I saved it as it is a great closeup of the system and this event being the first hurricane in that part of the atlantic we wont see it again for many decades to come.The eye looks somewhat elongated but it still has a well defined overall circulation and there appears to be mini vortexes inside the eye.

Note:This photo takes some time to download but worths the waiting.

Welcome to the forum again Aquawind after a few months absent.This system is another first in the atlantic but this time in the southern hemisphere.

Now now Luis, we wouldn't want to incite panic. It's "extra-tropical", not a hurricane! :lol:

Well HD this system in the first place was an upper low that slowly turned into a warm core system as upper winds became very favorable there.Right now that eye is around 24nm and still with a well defined circulation.The Brazillians are downplaying this and calls it a cyclone instead of a hurricane but it looks like a hurricane with that big eye.They better be preparing for between 10-15 inches of rain and plenty of wind.
