Update on my, uh, speeding ticket.

I had my court date yesterday and guess what....


I went in and told the town clerk I was pleading guilty. She said , huh? No one does that. You mean not guilty. I said no. This went around like 4 times. Finally she said, just sign not guilty and talk to the prosecutor, if I plead guilty, it was high fines and points. So I did what she said. So with the 300 other people who were there for the same thing, I went to see the prosecutor. He looked at my record and said, take the driving class and a parking ticket or 3 parking tickets. The parking tickets are about $40. and the class is $35 and gives you 10% off your insurance. I was like Wow. I regret speeding, but I win out, I guess, because I will come out about even.

Good for you Anthony!! I wish I could say the same thing about my "little Legal Problem" Looks like it's going to cost me $2,000 but that's better than $3,382.
