Even if thet don't have the vote I hope that they call for a vote. I would like them to force France and Russia to cast their veto vote for the record. France has shown no willingness to compromise and have instated on protecting Saddam. Chirac is protecting his "friend" (Those were Chirac's words not mine) and biggest customer. :grrr:

The latest is that the US-UK will bypass the UN and go to war without UN backing as diplomatic talks haved not progressed.

Now what we will wait for is the president making the speech from the oval office to make the final ultimatum to Saddam next week so the waiting game is over and the action will come in the comming days so LET'S ROLL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Chirac needs to reconsider his position on this. When we do go in, and we will go in and take Saddam out, France will be all alone in the world after all is said and done.

Not only will France be alone, but strapped for the 8 billion $$$ they get from Iraq every year...thanks to a 30-year friendship between Chirac and Saddam.

Russia stands to lose at least that much (not annually) as does Germany (technology for oil). Follow the Euros/marks/rubles, friends...
