I'm sure a few of y'all looked at this topic and said, 'Yeah right!!'. :eek:

I got this off of the NWS today. I have also heard this kind of pattern changed mentioned here at Storm2k about a week and half ago. I don't remember who it was actually. Maybe Stormsfury? What are y'all guys seeing?

ONE LAST NOTE...MEDIUM RANGE MODELS (ESP THE ECMWF) HAVE BEEN
CONSISTENTLY SHOWING SOMEWHAT OF A MCFARLAND PATTERN DEVELOPING MID
NEXT WEEK WITH A LARGE COLD 1050 MB+ HIGH POISED TO MOVE SOUTH AS
THE UPPER RIDGE PUMPS UP THE WEST COAST. WITH TEMPS STILL -30 TO -40
DEG F ACROSS NRN CANADA...THIS SUGGEST WE MAY EXPERIENCE AT LEAST
ONE MORE GOOD CANADIAN COLD FRONT POSSIBLY IN EARLY MARCH. WE SHALL
SEE.

Hmm, I'll believe it when I see it but it seems like we always have one more good cold front in March so this could be it.

Nothing from NO NWS discussion this afternoon about cold air. They talk about rain next week(big shock) with highs near 70. Personally, I'm sick and tired of all this rain. It seems every week we get over 3 inches of the stuff. It'll take my yard a good week to 10 days of no rain just to not be soggy.

I agree, if I wanted to live in Seattle I would move there lol. We're so used to rain here but the sun usually comes out shortly after. I'm tired of this weeklong episodes of clouds and rain.

I agree, Kelly---if there's no chance for snow then bring on Spring!

Spring is fine, and snow is fine. I am getting a little weary of all these North Carolina blizzards dumping snow only 150 miles to my south.

If you live in northeastern Virginia-----Welcome to the Snow Bubble---and prepare to have your heart wrenched out and broken every time. I think this is about the eighth time running this winter.

I'm ready for spring. I am TIRED TO DEATH of all these all-out blizzards in North Carolina and south Virginia, just tease after tease for NE Virginia where I am. We do not even get a single consolational flurry-just clouds and clouds and cold weather.

Enough already!!! It's almost March!!

I want spring and 89 degrees with a dewpoint of 81!!!! It's HIGH TIME!!! I am SICK of this near-miss nonsense!!!

Today has been a fine day with lots of sunshine and cool temps. However Sunday looks to get wet again with another front moving through Sunday night and the chances of severe weather.

BTW...my car is covered with yellow pollen today, I guess spring is here!

NOOOOOO. Somebody close the door up there. I don't want anymore cold air. I'm ready for spring.
As for the rain, I ain't gonna complain. I remember a few yrs ago how dry it was. All of the grass died. My cows almost starved cause they had no grass to eat and I had to buy hay throughout the summer. Then about mid-winter, my hay supplier ran out of hay! I had to have some trucked in and it was very expensive!
