HELP COMPUTER PROBLEMS

My IE is saying I am missing file scrrun.dll and I can't display activeX on my computer. I ranvirus scan and it showed clear!!!!! HELP PLEASE

here is a place to start..sometimes abitrarily, internet security settings can get changed mysteriously. May or may not be your problem. Try navigating through this site if this specifically doesn't solve the problem:

Thanks J this is the site I was trying to use when I discovred the problem. I downloaded script to get the updated scrrundll but my active X is not working still

Last time I had that problem my computer crashed John. Hope that is not happening to you.

Please update your virus software everyone. The latest round of viri actually deletes your files.

I am ok now. I had alot of issues...from where they came I have no idea. I bought a router and reinstalled and reinstalled. All is well for now
