David:
You got more comming!!! The snow extends almost all the way to Oklahoma and it is moving North and West-By looking at the Intelecast(sp) radar, I can see what is happening-the warm air just keeps pushing a bit west-I'm about 10 miles too far east-I'd say about 10 miles west of is all snow-the rain snow line developed at Lawrence-Lawrence East and south is pretty much all rain-just 10-15 miles west, south and north is all snow-hopefully if the low will scoot to the east a bit, the colder air will filter down-I need it to scoot to about Joplin Mo. or a bit east of there and then stall for about 5-7 hours-unfort. once it moves east of me, it will keep on truckin like the Gr. Dead and I'll have about 2-3 hours of snow!!!! Currently, I'm at 34-still-with rain-snow for about 5 min. then back to rain-what snow we got, is melting due to the rain!! This has been quite a storm to track-I really do feel for all the mets in KC and the NWS-this was a crank of a storm to forecast-just didn't close off enough and pulled way too much warm air into it just to about Lawrence-oh well-there will be other storms and other winters!! i can hear the KC media now-well we sure are living right-we dodged another bullet!! Yea for us-then when they complain and go horay because of no cold or snow, they'll run a segment on the terrors of the Green House Affect-sorry, rant over!! I'm going to go watch my snow pack melt!!

Ok-one last post then I have to put my snow bunny son to bed-34 degrees with rain-a few flakes trying to mix-KC is the place really getting the job from this storm-can you say dry slot!!!! The school where I teach is in South Kansas City-I have school tomorrow and have not done one darned thing to prepare-I'm done for!!! I shouldn't complain-I got to spend about 4-5 hours outside with my son today-what more can one ask for-but man 14 inches forecasted but only two inches of slush-that really gets ya!!!
