On second thought maybe you won't take my comments the wrong way. You see I know I'm definitely in the minority here when it comes to current sitcom marriages. But I am sick to death of controlling wives bossing their bumbling, do nothing right husbands. I cannot stand Debra or Patricia Heaton, for that matter. Within 5 minutes of each episode she has that hand on her hip and that icy stare planted firmly on Ray's face. Oh PH plays that bitchy wife part to the a T. I'll give her that. My husband is into this show, so it's on every Monday night. I prefer the shows before it and after. So when ELR comes on, it's break time for me. I like to ask when it's over - hey was Deb nice this week? LOL Okay, your turn j. I'll be interested to see what you have to say. My favorite character on that show is Frank. He is the best one, hands down, on that show. The most consistent character, IMHO. He was crabby from day one, still is crabby but there's just something about Frank that's likeable.

Chad..have you ever seen the "Soup Nazi" episode?

Sounds like your kind of humor to me. Or how about George getting a job as a bra salesman, and his Dad explaining the different sizes to him?

Classic I tell ya...classic!

Boy Mary...you have it down to a T! I will often turn to my wife and tell har how glad I am she is not like Deborah!

Frank is great....I like Robert's portrayal as the slighted sibling, which anybody with brothers and sisters knows...there is always a favorite. I happen to be the one in my family, as I am often refered to as the Mesiah by my brothers and sisters. So...I can relate to the way Marie acts with Ray.

Well, I'm relieved to read you're not too upset with me. But I'm serious, I just cannot stand Debra and cringe as soon as she starts to speak. It's always Ray, Ray, Ray..... I want to slap her silly! Doesn't help either that in real life she seems to be full of herself too. But that's another subject....

In our family our youngest is babied more. Our oldest daughter was independent from about 1 year on. She set the pace for me. Laura has just always seemed more needy. So when Nina is going down that road - Laura's spoiled, Laura's going to get her temps at precisely 15.5, Laura's had it easier in school b/c of me and you learned from my mistakes.....we all just smile and say - yes Nina, everybody loves Laura. That doesn't help any. It just makes Nina more mad. Guess it is hard being the oldest. I wouldn't know. I'm the baby in my family too. Yep, Robert plays that jealous, resentful brother really well too. I know a lot of people like that show b/c it's true to life. And yeah I know some wives just like Debra, but that doesn't mean I have to like the character!

I will miss Friends, but I think it is the right time for it to end.

The Apprentice is great! Glad to see it is on Thursday night.

And who didn't laugh hysterically at the Soup Nazi?? Best episode of any comedy show - ever! 8-)

My favorite Seinfeld episode is the one where they lose Kramer's car in the parking garage. Hilarious! And yes classic sitcom material.
